Serizzo Antigorio

Medium-grained granitic orthogneiss, dark-grey in colour due to abundant biotite mica (the darkest Serizzo variety). The stone presents homogeneous texture and well defined foliation. Mineralogical composition: quartz, K-feldspar (small porphyroclasts), plagioclase (An 25-30%), biotite, rare white mica and epidote (allanite).
