Granito rosa Baveno

Homogeneous medium to coarse-grained granite; the pink colour is due to the K-feldspar colour. Mineralogical composition: Kfeldspar (more abundant than in the Granito bianco Montorfano), quartz, plagioclase (oligoclase), biotite. In places the accessory minerals are: fluorite, white mica, zeolites, epidote, allanite, zircon, Feolivine.
