Granitoid orthogneiss, grey in colour, with homogeneous medium to fine grain-size (coarser than the Beola Ghiandonata). Equigranular foliated texture and rare mineralogical lineation. The medium-grained micas define the spaced cleavage. Mineralogical composition: quartz, K-feldspar (microcline), plagioclase, biotite and muscovite (similar in abundance), rare chlorite and epidote.
