Marmo Palissandro bluette

Fine-grained calc-silicate dolomitic marble, characterized by the presence of dolomite and phlogopite. The appearance of the stone is heterogeneous homogeneous texture and poorly defined foliation due to the scarce abundance of phlogopite. Calcite, quartz, plagioclase (An 80-90%), tremolite, sphene, epidote and disseminated sulphides can also be found.
